MARCH 2 - 4, 2016
WHAT IS LAUNCH?
The LAUNCH Festival is the greatest startup conference in the world, with 15,000 attendees, four stages, and 250 speakers focused on helping founders build, scale, and fund the next generation of outstanding companies.
We are a mission-driven, benefit company, with the mission of “supporting founders & inspiring innovation.”
Founders attend our event for free thanks to the support of our like-minded partners.
3 DAYS. 4 STAGES.
The “Ask Me Anything” Stage is a casual and intimate stage at the end of the Pier, where industry legends and up-and-comers alike sit down and take your questions. Questions are submitted live via our chat room (launch.slack.com) or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org (please put the speaker name in the subject line). This is the place to get to know the people you need in your network.
This stage is home to important discussions between luminaires and our founder, angel investor Jason Calacanis, as well as to our startup competition. Our startup alumni include Dropbox, Mint, FitBit, Red Beacon, Brilliant.org, Yammer, and 400 other exceptional companies! You’ll be inspired and educated by the legends--and future legends--in technology.
If you’re looking for tactical advice on how to build and grow your startup, the Cowell Theater is the place to be. We’ve collected the best 60 speakers in the growth space and given each one 10-20 minutes to blow your mind with the techniques that have built unicorns, including LinkedIn, Google, Twitter, Zenefits and Uber (among others!). Bring a notebook and get ready to learn!
On Tuesday, March 1st, we’ll bring together 25 angel investors to present their portfolios, goals, and approaches to angel investing for founders to get to know. In these 20-minute talks, angels will present what they’ve invested in, how they add value, and what they're looking for--and not looking for--in pitches.
